Swimming Pigs Day Tour in Exuma Cays: My Best Day Ever!
I have always been a nature lover, and going on different adventures to explore new things has always been my thing. So when I heard about a place where I could go see the world-famous original swimming pigs, I knew it was the next thing on my bucket list. On my trip to the Atlantis in Nassua The Bahamas I had the pleasure of visiting the famous swimming pigs in the Exuma Cays, and it was simply amazing. The experience was one to remember, and I’m excited to share every detail with you.
You might be wondering what the big deal is about seeing pigs swim. Well, let me tell you, it’s much more than that. The day tour started with a boat ride through the clear blue water of the Exuma Cays. The views are breathtaking, and I couldn’t help but take loads of pictures. We stopped at some secluded islands along the way, where we explored the beaches and the marine life. The tour guides also informed us about the islands’ history, which was fascinating.
The highlight of the tour was, of course, visiting the swimming pigs. As we approached the island, the captain told us to prepare for a once-in-a-lifetime experience. We were given some vegetables to feed the pigs, and it was so cool to see them swim up to our boat to get their treat. These pigs were so friendly, and they seemed to be so used to tourists. I even got the chance to take a selfie with one of them!
The swimming pigs are just one attraction on the day tour from Florida. There were also some iguanas and a stunning sandbar where we could relax and watch the waves. We also went for a snorkeling session, where we saw various marine life, including colorful fish, sea turtles, and even a stingray. The water was so clear and such a peaceful experience in the marine world.

We were surrounded by beautiful scenery that words can not describe, and the tour guides were knowledgeable and made it much more fun. I even made new friends on the swimming pigs tour who shared my enthusiasm for the experience. I also learned much about conservation efforts in the Exuma Cays and the importance of protecting marine wildlife.
